The town of Duck Lake lies between the North Saskatchewan and South Saskatchewan rivers. The actual lake is a few kilometres west of town. A nearby cairn marks the site of the Battle of Duck Lake, in which the Métis First Nations defeated the North West Mounted Police on Mar. 26, 1885. Learn More...
